Celebrating Literacy Leadership in Meriwether County!
Meriwether County School System has a partnership with Ignite Reading to bring high-dosage tutoring that strengthens students’ foundational reading skills.
At the November Reading Convene event, our very own Dr. Monica McDaniel, Director of Elementary Curriculum, joined educators, district leaders, literacy advocates, and partners from across the nation to collaborate and learn together about what truly drives transformative change in early literacy. Their shared mission: ensuring every student has the skills they need to read confidently by the end of first grade.
We are thrilled to announce that Dr. McDaniel was recognized for her impactful contributions to literacy and was honored with the Spark Award!
Congratulations, Dr. McDaniel!
