Due to the threat of winter weather, extreme cold, and potentially hazardous road conditions, all Meriwether County Schools will transition to remote learning on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Schools may contact parents and guardians by either email or One Call regarding the details of remote learning. A Winter Weather Watch will be in effect as of 10 AM on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Again, all Meriwether County Schools will transition to remote learning on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. In addition, all extra-curricular and co-curricular activities scheduled for Tuesday, January 21, 2025 are canceled. This announcement is being publicized one day in advance to ensure families have ample time to plan accordingly. There will be no school tomorrow, January 20, 2025, as we observe the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday. We will provide additional updates if necessary as the week progresses.
