NOTICE: WAIVER OF TITLE I-A LIMITATION ON CARRYOVER – ESSA Section 1127(a) (Unspent Title I, Part A FY26)
Meriwether County intends to use the additional Title I, Part A carryover funds to continue to improve academic achievement by utilizing Kids First, Progress Learning, Curriculum Associates, and other research-based, results-driven initiatives to identify and address learning gaps and to enhance student learning outcomes.
District-wide goals include increasing student achievement in all subject areas. At the school level, goals focus on: improving individual student performance by providing targeted interventions based on formative and observational achievement data, increasing participation in and effectiveness of remediation activities, and ensuring 90% of students complete regular progress monitoring assessments. MCSS intends to use these tools to provide personalized learning and data-driven instruction to foster measurable academic success among all students.
